A Teenage Sensation

Today I felt something, or rather someone I haven’t felt in a long time. Like those experiments of envisioning an apple in your mind’s eye, I can feel this someone’s particular neck tightening when embarrassed, her chewing on the inside of her cheek as a nervous tic, her long sandy brown hair folded over her crown like a praying mantis’s legs.

She’s a teenage sensation, full of the truth.
